With nearly 40% of Australian young people in the high-risk category for depressive or anxiety symptoms, you don’t need to look far to see the impact of mental ill-health in your community.
The scale of need might feel overwhelming, but you also see the value your community-of-care is (and can be) in the midst of what feels like a crisis.
It makes complete sense to want to strengthen your community’s capacity to care for one another.
STRENGTHEN HOUSEHOLDS
building personal capacity for care through lived experience learning and peer support
STRENGTHEN YOUR VILLAGE
building community capacity for care through partnership and advocacy
In response to your invitation, Resolute Love can initiate a ‘Village Pathway’ in your local community. We imagine it might look something like this:
In partnership with an organisation’s leadership, an agreed upon gathering is hosted, providing:
mental health awareness for care of young people
space for participants to reflect on needs relevant to them
introduction to the Resolute Love seminars
An opportunity for further partnership is offered through a series of live seminars and workshops with a self-selecting cohort.
This may be in person, or through online engagement.
In response to interest demonstrated among the learning cohort, a follow-up gathering may be hosted, providing:
an opportunity for the cohort’s learnings to be reflected back to the broader community
an opportunity for the community to explore next steps
Following interest gathered from the information session and consultation with community stakeholders, coaching is offered for the establishment of ongoing local advocacy and support.
